Really enjoyed my training

So I finally signed up for the Life Coach Certification program. I'd been thinking about it for a while. The online modules were actually really good, easy to follow along. I got a payment plan too, which helped a lot. Felt pretty good about the whole experience, honestly.

Detailed feedback on my experience

I recently completed the Coach Training Fundamentals. The initial inquiry online was answered within a day, and an admissions advisor followed up to discuss options. I chose the online format, which was convenient as I could do it from home. The course content for Core Energy Coaching was comprehensive, though sometimes a lot to take in. My support coach was responsive when I had questions about the ELI assessment. Delivery of the digital materials was immediate. Overall, it was a solid program, and I felt well-prepared for the next steps in my certification journey. They explained the payment options clearly during my consultation, which was helpful.

Consistent quality, returning student

This was my second program with iPEC; I previously did the Life Coach Certification and just finished Master Practitioner. The quality of instruction and materials remained consistent. Their online portal is easy to navigate, just like before. It's why I came back, I trust their approach and the support team has always been reliable. No surprises, which is a good thing for advanced training.

Good value with early discount

I went for the Executive Coach Certification and managed to get an early enrollment discount. It made a big difference in the total cost. I compared it to a few other places, and with the scholarship, iPEC felt like the best bang for my buck. I definitely felt like I got good value for what I paid, and the course content seems worth it.

Has anyone gotten a referral discount? My cousin is an iPEC grad and said she could refer me, but I'm not sure how much it actually saves.

L Linda Phillips 4 weeks ago
Yeah, they do have a referral program! I think it was a few hundred dollars off when my friend referred me. It's usually applied during the admissions process, so make sure your cousin gives them your name or vice-versa.

It's not a huge discount compared to some of the scholarships, but every bit helps! Definitely worth asking about when you talk to an enrollment advisor.

wondering about the time commitment for iPEC. how long does the full certification take, realistically? trying to juggle it with my full-time job.

I Ian W. 4 weeks ago
It depends if you do it full-time or part-time, but I think most people finish in about 7-12 months. It's intense, but doable if you plan your study time.

I took about 10 months. There are modules and practice sessions. You definitely need to dedicate consistent time, especially for the peer coaching, but they have options that are more flexible for working folks.

Is the ICF accreditation thing legit for iPEC? Like, will employers actually recognize it or is it just a fancy badge?

A Ashley B. 2 weeks ago
Oh for sure. ICF is like the gold standard for coaching certifications. If you're serious about being a professional coach, you pretty much need an ICF-accredited program, and iPEC is one of them.

Yeah, it's totally legit. I work in HR and we definitely look for ICF accreditation when hiring coaches or even for internal coaching roles. It shows a certain level of training and ethics.

How does iPEC stack up against Co-Active? I'm trying to decide between the two and can't figure out if there's a big difference in the 'energy' thing vs. their approach.

I Ian Lee 3 weeks ago
I looked at both! Co-Active is great for relationship-focused coaching, but iPEC's Core Energy is more about identifying and shifting internal blocks, which felt more comprehensive to me. It really dives into mindset.

From what I hear, CTI is more about 'being' a coach, very client-led. iPEC has that too but also gives you a specific framework with the Energy Leadership Index which can be super helpful when you're just starting out and need some structure.

Hey, thinking about signing up for iPEC but the cost is a bit much. Are there actually any real discounts or is it all just talk during the info sessions?

J Justin Anderson 2 weeks ago
Yeah they do. I got a pretty decent chunk off for signing up early for the fall cohort last year. I think they call it an 'early enrollment incentive' or something.

They don't really do promo codes you can just type in like a normal store. It's more about talking to their admissions people. My friend got a scholarship because they attended a webinar, so it's worth asking during your consultation call.
